1. Elements of railway infrastructure and services available to passengers at the Station:
- passenger station
- station waiting room located in the buildings of the Municipal-District Library in Kwidzyn at 54 Kościuszki Street.
3. Accessibility of the station and provision of assistance to persons with disabilities or reduced mobility on its premises – PRM
In accordance with Article 24 of Regulation (EC) 1371/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on rail passengers’ rights and obligations (OJ L 315/14), assistance to persons with disabilities or reduced mobility (PRM) departing from, passing through or arriving at a staffed Station is provided provided that the railway undertaking, Station Manager, ticket vendor or tour operator is notified of the need for assistance at least 48 hours before such assistance is required.
The station is accessible to people with disabilities or reduced mobility (PRM).
The nearest station where staff are present to provide assistance to people with disabilities or reduced mobility (PRM) is Malbork station.
§ 3
For the safety and comfort of persons using rail transport services, it is prohibited to:
- destroying, damaging, rendering unfit for use buildings, structures, as well as their facades and equipment, devices and railway vehicles, stealing property located at a passenger station, making unauthorized changes to the condition of railway traffic control devices, information, security, signaling and warning devices, devices used to serve disabled persons or persons with reduced mobility, lighting systems and disrupting their operation, in particular by damaging, manipulating and changing their location;
- making unauthorized changes to the status of signals, indicators and markings and disrupting their operation, in particular by damaging them, changing their location or image or imitating them by placing lights or other objects imitating signals, indicators or markings near railway tracks;
- polluting and littering or carrying out physiological needs in places not designated for this purpose;
- placing, removing, damaging and changing permanent and temporary markings, inscriptions, announcements and advertisements without the consent of the Operator;
- smoking tobacco, smoking electronic cigarettes, selling, serving and consuming alcohol, bringing in and consuming narcotics and bringing in other items the possession of which is prohibited by separate regulations;
- leaving luggage, packages or other items unattended outside the designated areas;
- leaving animals unattended and bringing animals in without any protective equipment (e.g., muzzles, leashes, cages) and without a current vaccination certificate (if required). It is also prohibited to feed animals not under the direct supervision of the owner or guardian;
- using alarm devices without justification;
- entry of unauthorized persons into facilities, places, rooms and railway vehicles to which access by unauthorized persons is prohibited;
- bringing in, possessing or using pyrotechnic products and fire hazardous materials without the Operator’s consent, as well as carrying out activities that may cause a fire, in particular starting or using fire and other activities that may endanger persons using the passenger station;
- approaching the edge of the platform (does not apply to boarding and alighting from the train) and stepping onto the tracks, crossing the tracks in places not designated for this purpose, stepping onto structures, devices and other elements of equipment not intended for persons using the passenger station, passing under and between carriages and blocking the tracks;
- begging;
- conducting without the Operator’s consent:
- public collections,
- business activities, including advertising, acquisition and trade,
- artistic, informational and social campaigns,
- convening and organizing meetings,
- election campaigning,
- religious agitation;
- arranging games referred to in Article 2 of the Act of 19 November 2009 on gambling (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2018, item 165, as amended);
- disturbing public order or the peace of persons using rail transport services, in particular by shouting, noise, behaviour generally considered vulgar or aggressive, as well as obstructing passengers from using the passenger station by persons causing a general feeling of discomfort or whose behaviour causes complaints from passengers;
- staying at the station for overnight stays, sleeping/lying on benches, window sills and other equipment;
- riding bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, other single- or multi-track vehicles, including electric ones, and riding roller skates, rollerblades, skateboards and scooters on platforms, in lobbies, station waiting rooms, in underground passages, on footbridges, in passages between platforms and near tracks at a distance of less than 3 metres from the outermost rail, except with the consent of the Operator; the provision does not apply to vehicles and devices used by disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility;
- placing objects on elements of the railway infrastructure that disrupt its operation or threaten the safety of railway traffic;
- parking vehicles in places not intended for this purpose or parking vehicles in places designated for authorized entities and persons, in the absence of such authorization;
- leaving vehicles from self-service rental companies (bicycles, scooters, etc.) except in places designated for leaving them.
§ 4
In the event of any disturbance of order by persons staying at the Station or any other violation of the provisions of the Regulations, the services responsible for monitoring compliance with order regulations at the Station, or the security staff acting on behalf of the Operator, are authorized to take actions arising from the provisions of the law, in particular:
- calling on persons violating order at the Station to cease violating the provisions of the Regulations;
- calling on the persons referred to in point 1 to leave the Station immediately;
- apprehend persons who clearly pose a direct threat to life or health and protected property in order to immediately hand them over to the Police.
§ 5
- The Operator is not responsible for luggage and other items left unattended on the Station premises.
- Luggage or other items left unattended that may disrupt the operation of the Station will be removed and may be disposed of by authorized entities at the expense of their owners or users.
§ 6
Rules of conduct in the event of evacuation of the Station
- In the event of an evacuation order at the Station (e.g. due to fire, threat of a terrorist attack, etc.), all persons present on its premises are obliged to follow the instructions of the person in charge of the evacuation, as well as officers of the Fire Service, Police, Railway Security Guard, Border Guard, soldiers, Military Police, employees of the Emergency Medical Service and security personnel and property acting on behalf of the Operator.
- In the event of an evacuation, remain calm and do not hinder the activities of law enforcement and rescue services.
